Sylvia Nan

For Sylvia, the underwater world symbolizes the world of emotions. She uses the pearls in the depths as a metaphor for discovering valuable insights, wisdom, or inner treasures hidden in the unconscious, in the difficult, or deep within oneself or a situation. In this series, Sylvia has used ecoline, acrylic ink, cast paper, and objects made of self-drying clay.
